During my Ph.D. years across Europe—and even earlier, as an undergraduate student—I became increasingly convinced that academic life should not be a solitary journey. This conviction led me to run for, and later serve as, Ph.D. Representative.
Since September 2023, I have been involved in the design and coordination of Philawson, an international network of young scholars working at the intersection of philosophy of law and social ontology. Together with a group of early-career researchers based across Europe, we meet monthly to discuss papers and book chapters, and we regularly organize in-person events.
Among these, we hosted the First Philawson Workshop in Milan (November 2024), also supported by funding from the International Social Ontology Society. The creation and development of Philawson remains one of the projects I am most proud of.

I am also part of the organizing committee of BeccariaLab, a horizontal forum for discussion among the Ph.D. candidates of the Legal Studies “Cesare Beccaria” program at the University of Milan. With a rich calendar of meetings, BeccariaLab provides a space to present work-in-progress research and to invite speakers whose expertise enriches the doctoral community.
